New blog discovery

I just found a website the other day while getting my daily dose of Bakerella who else, also, was trying to find out how is she doing, turns out her mom was accepted to be her donor, I'm so happy for her!!!! well......I was reading her post about some cookie flowers, they looked adorable, I wouldn't have the heart to eat them
they were so cute! and looked absolutely yummy and being the curious cat that I am, went straight to her website her name's SugarBelle, I found the most adorable cookies in her page, you should go and check it out!!!
Also found a recipe for Royal Icing which will come in handy next week because I'll bake some cookies and a cake for my other Nephew (so sweet!!! He's 7 now) (Omg I'm so Old!)..well enought about talking to myself.....

My Nephew's birthday cake

Well, last week was my little nephew's 9 birhtday (little??..He's already taller than me), and being his favorite aunt :)... I promised him to make his birthday cake, It had to come out awesome.
Well ... I spent 3 weeks making little fondant brown and golden bricks, baking and making frosting, mushrooms and brown thingys with feet, clouds and bushes.
Finally Saturday at aproximately 11:45 am, I declared it finished and here are some pictures, please don't be rough with me, this is actually the first time I use fondant to decorate a Cake,

After 3 days of hard work, It was so worth it to see his little amazed face,

Huge Apologize

I'm sorry to all who took the time to read whatever I wrote the last couple of moths, I know I've been neglecting you all, but that's not bacuase I wanted to, been having a rough couple of moths, with work mostly, issues at my parent's house and all that.

I promise I'll try to be dedicated to this as I am with baking and creating.

Please look forward to my next post. I made a cake for my nephew's Birthday last week, and to be honest, I came out pretty awesome....
