Choco Chai Cupcakes

So....
I had never tried Chai tea in my life! Last week I got introduced to it, by a great friend at work, and I loved, loved, loved it!. The smell is just so awesome and soothing, and the taste....well, I just felt like I was back home just sitting on the couch reading a great book.
And, after many many cups of Chai last week, all I could think about was chai cupcakes...and chai cakes, and chai this and that!
I decided to try my luck with the cupcakes and the frosting...
Let me tell you, they came out delicious!
Just the perfect amount of cocoa and chai, sweet but not too sweet, and the frosting just complemented the cupcake, sweet, spiced with the chai powder...

Just Yummy,

I couldn't eat just one, I mean...I had to taste them to make sure they were perfect!

My Nephew's birthday cake

Well, last week was my little nephew's 9 birhtday (little??..He's already taller than me), and being his favorite aunt :)... I promised him to make his birthday cake, It had to come out awesome.
Well ... I spent 3 weeks making little fondant brown and golden bricks, baking and making frosting, mushrooms and brown thingys with feet, clouds and bushes.
Finally Saturday at aproximately 11:45 am, I declared it finished and here are some pictures, please don't be rough with me, this is actually the first time I use fondant to decorate a Cake,

After 3 days of hard work, It was so worth it to see his little amazed face,
